I was so blessed to attend a James Ray live event recently. He exceeded my expectations with his fabulous style and scientific approach to success. Growing up, I've never been one to enjoy science that much, but as he explains, there is a slight hindrance, maybe unconsciously, Langlands program if we are unaware and have no understanding of why and how physical things are happening in our world.
There were thousands of jewels gleaned from the two hour presentation. What is especially neat is that James Arthur Ray is so open and willing to share these truths with anyone who is willing and ready to receive them. In fact it is his life's mission to share these truths with everyone on the planet.
He encouraged us that life is not meant to be a struggle, it is meant to be joyously abundant. If we are not growing, we are dying and we might have to do something radically different to see the significant changes that we desire.
Expanding on the "energy flows where attention goes" belief, he expanded on what complaining really does and that complainers are simply "energy vampires." What I really enjoyed as well, as a spirit-filled Christian, is his concepts, although rooted in science, completely line up with The Bible and Christian teachings. Now this might be contrary to many, because Christians may be turned off to science due to theories of evolution. But James Ray was careful to explain, that you get what you are looking for - citing the famous Copenhagen science meeting in 1941 with many fabulous scientific minds. This is termed the observer-expectancy effect defined in Wikipedia as a cognitive bias found in science that occurs when a researcher expects a given result and therefore unconsciously manipulates an experiment in order to find it. Even scientists find what they are looking for. What are you seeking?
Those focused on the Law of Attraction would find James' teaching so in-depth and complimentary to a greater understanding and awareness of an even bigger picture. One fabulous and easy practice to follow is to determine your financial goal. Pick an amount. If it is to earn $100,000 per year (include at least 2 weeks of vacation), then that is $400 per day and $50 per hour. Keep at least the $400 of cash in your pocket. Let the law of attraction go to work because like attracts like, but more importantly, as you reach in your pocket to feel a wad of cash that generates a feeling of prosperity and your feelings will revolutionize your status. Next, when faced with a financial decision, consider 'what would a $100,000 income earner do right now?' and then do it!
Another challenge given was to walk in the Law of Reversal. If you think, speak and act the exact opposite of most people, you will realize outstanding results. Experiment with this, it could simply be watching less TV than the average household. After you visualize your $50, $75 or even $125 per hour, is that hour of TV really worth it?
We were born into greatness, now it's up to us to achieve it. It's our greatest gift to give.
